Making your Senior Project More Meaningful:
Once your project has been approved and you officially start your Fieldwork, we STRONGLY encourage all of you to document and reflect on your experience; ultimately, your final Exhibition of Learning (March 24) would benefit tremendously by considering ways to incorporate a few of the following types of reflection:
- Vlog that reflects on some aspect of your project experience (fieldwork, paper writing process, etc.)
- Video that highlights an important part of your Fieldwork
- Video interview with mentor or someone that you may have worked with during the process
- Pictures detailing Fieldwork experience and/or the creation of a product
- Vlog explaining a potential interdisciplinary connection (demonstrate how some aspect of your project connects multiple disciplines)
- Nearing the end of the project vlog (a vlog that in some way speaks to your Senior Project journey (plans for future tied to your project? What would you do differently if you had to do it again? Most memorable part of the project? etc.)
- Vlog explaining ONE way your project connects to BHS’s vision of a graduate
While you are certainly free to think about other creative and meaningful ways to enhance your final exhibition of learning, we thought it would be helpful for you to be thinking about these types of things towards the beginning of your Senior Project journey!!
